About the event
The African Open Government Conference is a new format of the annual Regional Summit, a key milestone of the Francophone Open Government Support Project (PAGOF2), implemented by Expertise France and funded by the French Development Agency (AFD).
Under the theme “Towards an Open Africa”, the Forum aims to strengthen cooperation among participating countries and institutions on reforms related to transparency, anti-corruption, citizen participation, accountability, modernization of public action particularly through digital transformation. It will provide a high-level political dialogue platform, facilitate the sharing of experiences, and help identify concrete avenues for collaboration. The Forum will bring together ministerial delegations, parliamentarians, institutional representatives, local elected officials, technical and financial partners, and civil society actors from across Africa
